Eligibility
- This offer is only available to RSPCA AU and RSPCA member Society volunteers who purchase an RSPCA Pet Insurance policy on or after 1 April 2026.
- To qualify for this offer, volunteers must take out a PetFlex pet insurance policy with RSPCA Pet Insurance on or after 1 April 2026, by using the unique QR code or link provided.
- For the purposes of this offer, a volunteer means an individual who voluntarily performs work or services for RSPCA AU or an RSPCA member Society without financial gain, and who therefore doesn’t receive wages, a salary, or other remuneration, and isn’t engaged as an employee or contractor by RSPCA AU or an RSPCA member Society.
- Proof of volunteer status may be required at the time of application and at any time during the policy term to confirm eligibility.
- To be eligible for the discount, the individual must have volunteered within the past six months (180 days).
Discount application
- Eligible policyholders will receive a 10% discount on the base premium of their policy.
- This discount will apply for the lifetime of the policy, provided that the policyholder continues to meet the eligibility requirements.
Duration of the discount
- If the volunteer’s policy is cancelled for any reason, this discount will cease immediately.
- If the policyholder is no longer an active RSPCA volunteer, they may no longer be eligible for this volunteer discount.
Insurer rights
RSPCA Pet Insurance reserves the right to:
- Remove the discount if it’s determined that the policyholder wasn’t eligible at the time of purchasing the policy.
- Verify volunteer status at any time with RSPCA AU or an RSPCA member Society.
Please note that any misrepresentation of eligibility may result in policy cancellation.
